He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rule and Eva Rule (Lacombe); and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Rule and Charles "Artie" Rule. He is survived by: his sisters, Eva Sands (Donald) of Meriden, Mary Ann Gerry of Unity, ME and Sarah Rule of Meriden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
