She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Merritt and Caroline M. Merritt; her husband Theodore B. Clark; and her son-in-law Frank Gawlik. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Post (Thomas) of Branchville, NJ and Janice Gawlik of Meriden; and her grandson Thomas Post (Dana) of Brocton, NY. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to The Music Fund of First United Methodist Church, Meriden, CT in memory of Frances Clark.
