He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Edythe Grunden Ransom and Laurence Ensign Ransom of Meriden, CT.; his siblings, Laurence Ensign Ransom Jr., Leola Wagner, Christine Scatton and Lois Evelyn; and his siblings' children, Kathleen Recchia and Daniel Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Grace H. Ransom; his stepchildren, Diane Klouser (Kerry), David Longo (Connie) and Kathy Demastes (Dave); his aunt Clarissa Miller; his sister Laura Vumback; and his sibling's children, Cheryl, Marie, Renee, Debbie, Donald and Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
