He was predeceased by: his spouse Justa Medina Cruz; his parents, Pedro Medina and Graciliana Molina; his son Wilfredo Medina; and his siblings, Carmen Delia Medina Molina and Domingo Medina.
He is survived by: his daughters, Yolanda Vargas (Roberto Vargas), Maria Nieves (Carlos Nieves) and Gladys Vargas (Medina); his son-in-law Jose Luis Vargas; his children, Brenda Medina, Jose Rene Medina (Luz Mari Medina), David Medina and William Medina (Luz Cruz); and his sister Felicita Medina Molina. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
