She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Bacote Jr.; and her mother Annie Mae Sheppard. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Bacote of Meriden and Christopher Bacote (Shante) of Wallingford; her nephew Craig Durant of Meriden; her sisters, Barbara Durant (Frank) of Meriden and Traci Sheppard of West Haven; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Bacote and Christopher Bacote Jr. (Moose); and her close friends, Ernestine Walter, Beaulah Preston and Sharron Tooley of Meriden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
