He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Cello and Donata Rich Cello; his sister Marie Dewey; and his brother-in-law Edward Dewey. He is survived by: his niece Patricia Michelson of Meriden; his nephew Michael Dewey (Meg) of Perris; his great-nieces, Erin Herpok (Michael) of Meriden and Brittany Culver (Nicholas) of Prospect; his close friend June Spencer of Southington; his cousin Richard Julius of Meriden; and also, Lucas, Mason, Gwen, Mila, Everly, Cheri Cluff of Vineyard Haven, MA, Janet Marino of Virginia Beach, VA and Luka Milekic (Maggie) of Amherst, MA..
