He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Meadows. He is survived by: his child Joey Jr.; his mother Ethel Meadows (Dayton) of Newtown; his wife Susan; his children, Christina Meadows of Meriden and Joseph Meadows Jr. of Meriden; and his siblings, Kathy Crisci of Southbury and Jesse Meadows Jr. (Jessica) of New Milford. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
