He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Roman (Hall); his parents, Pedro Rivera Roman and Amelia Roman; his great grandchild Armani Brown; and his siblings, Estrella Rivera, Jesus Rivera and Jose Rivera.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Rosa Santana (Julio); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Julio, Madison and Julianna Santana; his children, Mary Cabrera (Juan), Beverly Alicea (Santos), Lucy Casorla (Jose), Nora Rivera (Angel), Rene Roman, Mariano Roman Jr. and Robert Anderson; and his brothers, Luis Roman, Edemiro Roman and Bolivar Pitre. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mariano may be made to his family, or to the funeral home, to help with funeral expenses.
