She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Elbert Sr.; her parents, Fred Blair and Clydie Blair of Wrightsville, GA; her siblings, Rosa Ella Williams, Mildred Dixion, James Edward Blair and Verlion Blair; her nephew Darrell Blair; her grandson Jimmy Lamar Elbert; and her siblings-in-law, Eddie Dudley Sr. and Mary Alice Blair.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Elbert, Jr., Jacqueline Elbert Curry and Pastor Janice Forster; her siblings, Perlie Blair of Wrightsville, GA, Gene Blair (Ethel Jean) of Waterbury, CT, Harry Parish of South Meriden, CT and Readie Dudley of Meriden, CT; her brother-in-law Eugene Williams of East Dublin, GA; her grandchildren, Keosha Jones (Marquis Jones) of Meriden, CT, Daniel Curry of Meriden, CT, Jurrell Curry of Meriden, CT, Frederick Elbert, Jr. of Meriden, CT, Mary of Meriden, CT and Savannah Medina of Meriden, CT; and also, Ronald Forster of Meriden, CT., Frederick Elbert of Meriden, CT. and Patrina Medina (Edwin Medina) of Meriden, CT.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
