It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sallie M. Davis of Meriden, Connecticut, born in Gadsden, South Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her spouse Jessie Davis, Sr.; her parents, Lewis Moore and Mary Bell Moore; her siblings, Amanda Moore and Buster Paul Moore; her granddaughter Kim Davis; and her nieces and nephews, Catherine Davis, Janie Jacobs, Arthur Moore and Eddie Lee Shiver.
She is survived by : her son Jesse Davis Jr. of New Mexico; her grandchildren, Jesse Davis III of New York and Terri Davis of Middletown; her great grandchild Jessica Marie Williams of Washington, D. C.; her daughter-in-law Marie Davis of Marlborough; and her nieces, Margaret Gamble of Fairfax, VA. and Virginia McClinton. She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
