She was predeceased by : her husband Richard E. Brown Sr.; her parents, Adelarde Antonia and Simone Courchesne (Laverieré); and her siblings, Lorraine Calabro, Herve and Jerome Courchesne.

She is survived by : her children, Carlene Cortellino (Robert), Joseph Gagnon (Cora), Michael Gagnon (Roberta), David Gagnon and Keith Gagnon; her grandchildren, Christie Cortellino Chipelo, Robert Cortellino, Heather Colburn, Robert Gagnon, Candice Gagnon, Nicole Gagnon, David Gagnon, Nicholas Gagnon, Taylor Menck and Victoria Gagnon; her great grandchildren, Juliana, Olivia, Luke Chipelo, Reese, Penelope, Willow Cortellino, Zachary Biggs, Trevor, Alyssa and McClain Gagnon; her siblings, Jeanine Raby and Edward Courchesne (Ardene); her stepchildren, Laura Vardalls (James) and Richard Brown Jr. (Rosemary); her stepgrandson Richard Brown III (Denise); and also, Danielle, Shawn and Jessica. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
