It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John N Spain of Middlebury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John N Spain to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Beth Wilson Spain; his parents, Harrison Millburn Spain Sr. and Hazel Waddington Spain; and his stepmother Louise Cody Spain. He is survived by : his close friend Becky Lynn; his sons, John Nicholls Spain Jr. (Sally) of Michigan, William Wilson Spain of Colorado and Harrison Millburn Spain III of California; his grandchildren, John N. Spain III (Nicole), Patrick W. Spain (Theresa), Alex Spain (Suzette), David Spain (Tami), Harry Spain IV (Erin), Claire Spain Marsden and Jordan Hurand Spain; and his great grandchildren, Chloe of Cullen, T. J., Hunter Austin, Brendan, Patrick, Emily, Danika, Michaela, Harrison VI, Wyatt, Bobby and Derek Jr..
