It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward R. Giesbrandt Sr. of Middlefield, Connecticut, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Myrtle Way; his children, Jennifer Pelletier (Ron) of Berlin and Ed Giesbrandt Jr. (Stacey) of Berlin; his grandchildren, Amber, Kailee Giesbrandt, Nolan and Darren Pelletier; and his sisters, Carol Piro of Middletown and Joan Bulley (Jack) of Rockfall. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Middlefield Cemetery (320 Main St, Middlefield, CT 06455).
