She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Handley and Sarah Handley; her husband Bishop R. Atwell, III; and her siblings, Richard Handley, Robert Handley and Judith Halford.
She is survived by: her sisters, Karen Brown of Middletown and Beth Priestley of New Hampshire; her mother-in-law Margaret Atwell (Peg) of Durham; her sister-in-law Joanne Peterson of Rockfall; her children, Sarah Atwell (Michael Kudrak) of Middletown and Jesse Atwell (Caitlin) of Rockfall; and her grandson Robert Kudrak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
All are open to friends and family as long as masks are in use and COVID precautions are in place.
