She was predeceased by : her husband Frederick F. Shettleworth; and her parents, Alfred Grapentin and Ruth Grapentin (Geigert). She is survived by : her children, Paul F. Shettleworth (Linda) and Lois Greenbacker (Joseph) of Durham. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
