He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ayotte and Ann Marie Ayotte (Paradis); and his brothers, Bertrand, Norman and Reginald.

He is survived by: his siblings, Antoine Ayotte, Sylvio Ayotte (Nora), Richard Ayotte (Joan), Jean-Paul Ayotte (Dione), Albertine Dufour, Jeannine Gallegos and Rita Thibeault. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Haven VA Medical Center.
