It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Hanlon Gardella of Milford, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George W. Hanlon and Margaret Wurster Hanlon; her siblings, George and Pat Clark; and her great grandchild Emma Rose Campbell.

She is survived by : her children, Elizabeth O'Connor (John), Katherine Taylor (Richard), Robert Gardella (Cynthia) and Christopher Gardella; her siblings, Sharon (Rex Gustafson), Bette Lischke (Jerry), Bill (Maria), Carol (George Hanlon) and Michael Hanlon; and her close friend Peter Nelson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren as well as 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (92 East Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (60 East Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at the St. John Cemetery (223 Richards Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850).
