He was predeceased by: his wife Ludmila Theresa "Millie" Kolpak. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Downey (Steven Reid) of Littleton, CO and Barbara Downey Capasso (John) of Fairfield, CT; his brother Roy Downey (Katie) of Wallingford, CT; and his grandchildren, Beri Halouska, Dana Capasso Stivers (Abby Stivers) and Jay Capasso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
