She is survived by : her brother James Shinn; her husband Stanley Ward Jr.; her daughter Michele Ward Benza (Donald) of Canterbury, CT; her grandsons, Timothy Benza Carver (Sarah) and Daniel Benza of Taunton, MA; and her brother Paul Shinn (Carol) of Mystic, CT.
