She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley M. Gowac and Mary A. Gowac (Nycek) of Moodus, CT.; her husbands, Manuel "Manny" Tinta and Charles "Chuck" Smith; and her brother Joseph Gowac.
She is survived by : her siblings, Tom, Peter and Michele. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
