John F. Garbarino Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Garbarino of Mystic, Connecticut, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Garbarino and Agnes Garbarino; and his wife Susan Garbarino (Clay). He is survived by: his sister Rye Griswold; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Flinkstrom and Diane Clark. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355).
