We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2023, at the age of 80, Karen Elizabeth Sherman (Mystic, Connecticut), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Roger Sherman; her daughters, Heather Somers of Mystic, Erin Montgomery of Groton and Katie Mawhiney of Colchester; her grandchildren, Hayley Bond, Emily Maher, Ian Bond, Evelyn Morgera, Andrew Bateson, Patrick Mawhiney and Grace Somers; and her parents, Edward Peter and Lydia Haug. She was also cherished by five greatgrandchildren.
