He was predeceased by : his parents, William James Lord and Katherine Lord (Ledwidge); his sisters, Pauline Lord Beck and Marjorie Lord Berthasavage; and his brother-in-law Donne Pont.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Lord (Pont); his granddaughter Sarah Pollard (Jason); his great grandchildren, Paige and Griffin; his grandchild Sienna Pendola (Tim Arkenberg); his great grandchildren, Zalia Pendola and Xavier Arkenberg; and his brother-in-law Larry Pont (Donna).
