He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. Johnson and Celia Johnson (Emanuelson). He is survived by: his children, David A. (Christine Johnson) of Naugatuck, Richard H. Johnson of Naugatuck, Gary W. Johnson of Naugatuck and Sharon O'Donnell of Naugatuck; his close friend George Angst of Durham; his sister-in-law Barbara Salerno of Naugatuck; his grandchildren, Tim, Jessica, Dave, Richard (Dana) and Michael; and his great grandchild Alan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
