She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Allen and Mamie Allen (Horne); and her sister Emily Newman. She is survived by: her son Richard T.; her daughter-in-law Heide Ruff; her grandson Marcus T. Ruff of Naugatuck; her aunt Ruby Gray; her son Byron Gray; her nephews, Tracy Newman and Shaun Newman; and her great-niece Scotlyn Newman.
