He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold and Dolores Lutz. He is survived by: his parents, Charlene Lutz Southard of Naugatuck and Barry Southard (Valerie) of Florida; his brothers, Scott Southard of Naugatuck, Bari Southard of Bridgewater and Brendon Southard of Bridgewater; his siblings' children, Gianna, Trevor, Colin, Meredith, Ethan and Molly; and his grandmother Ethel Southard of Bridgeport. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and friends.
