It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Shortt (Naugatuck, Connecticut), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Tiernan and Mary Perro Tiernan (Fitzgerald); her stepfather Raymond Tiernan; and her brother John Perro. She is survived by: her children, Mary Stevenson (Matthew Stevenson, III), Patricia Ceritello (Kevin Ceritello), Raymond Shortt (Dolores Daloisio Shortt), Thomas Shortt (Kathy Shortt) and Robert Shortt, Jr. (Linda Shortt); her grandchildren, Matthew IV, Michelle, Marissa, Amanda, Katia, Ryan, Dylan, Kevin, Brian, Danny and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Samantha, Skyler, Grayson, Peyton, Kevin Jr. and Nash. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
