She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Manthey. She is survived by: her parent Mary Manthey (Krankota); her sons, John R. Sousa, Jr. of Naugatuck and Mark Sousa (Joyce) of Thomaston; her son-in-law Preston Hurst of Lakeland, FL; her grandchildren, Brian Sousa, Jonathan Hurst, Brianne Sousa and Colin Sousa; her sisters, Mary Secula of Wolcott and Roberta SantaMaria (Sal) of Waterbury; her daughter Diane Hurst; her grandson Justin Damiano; and her sisters, Eleanor O'Connell and Arline SantaMaria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
