It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Warner of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Warner; her parents, John Shipkowski and Bernice Shipkowski (Tryjanowski); and her siblings, Leona, Marcella, Dorothy, John and Stanley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Warner of Naugatuck, Diane Szczesiul (Terry) of Naugatuck, Deborah Healy (Vincent) of Naugatuck, Carol Gallagher (Joseph) of West Hartford and Cheryl Schweizer (Travis) of Simsbury; and her grandchildren, Christine Healy, Kathryn (Nicole Healy), Kurtis Szczesiul, Jillian Gallagher, Daniel (Sarah Gallagher) and Natalie Schweizer (Jack Schweizer). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ask everyone to please wear a facial covering and follow social distancing guidelines. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Scranton, PA.
