It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Audrey Nitowski of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Duryea, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph S. Nitowski; her parents, Stephen Mihok and Margaret Mihok (Simonovich); her son Joseph Nitowski; and her siblings, Ursula Howard, Marion Gray, Thomas Mihok and Stephen Mihok.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Nitowski of Naugatuck, Stephen Nitowski of Naugatuck and Joel (Candace Nitowski) of Meriden; and her grandson David Cajigas of Windsor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
