It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Slabicki (Naugatuck, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on June 4, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Grenick and Emelia Grenick (Rokowicz); and her daughter Atty. She is survived by: her husband Walter; her daughter Denise Carrington (Brian); her siblings, Stanley Grenick, Jennie Romanski and Mary Garthwait; her siblings-in-law, Margaret Brezowicz, Chester Romanski, John Garthwait and Frank Brezowicz; and her niece Margaret Fellers (Brezowicz). She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews; and many great-great nieces and nephews.
