It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joaquim Esteves (Naugatuck, Connecticut), who passed away on August 5, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joaquim Esteves to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Esteves and Maria Esteves (Pereira); and his son Fernando Esteves. He is survived by: his children, John Esteves of Naugatuck, Almiro Esteves of Milldale, Antonio Esteves of Prospect, Gloria Gomes of Portugal, Aurora Fernandes of Naugatuck and Helena "Maria" Zupa of Oxford. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren; his five great grandchildren; three brothers and one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
