He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Tamburri and Antonette Tamburri (Marano). He is survived by: his wife Paula Tamburri (D'Alesio); his children, Andrea Tamburri of Long Island, NY and John F. Tamburri, Jr. of Mesa, AZ; and his sister Roseanne Guild of West Haven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
