He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Giannelli Mangine; his parents, Dominick Mangine and Angeline Mangine (Marinacco); and his siblings, Leonard Mangine and Eleanor Wilkas.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Susan Mangine Brown (Gary L. Brown) of Waterbury; his close friend Al Fischang; his son Steven Joseph Mangine (Genevieve) of Lexington Kentucky; his sister Loretta Loyer of Naugatuck; his grandchildren, Matthew Mangine, Christopher Brown (Samela) and Stephanie Brown; and his great grandchildren, Landon and Levi Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.
