He was predeceased by: his spouse Hillmiye "Connie" Fermo (Richard); his parents, Giovanno Fermo and Lucia Fermo (Creatore); and his siblings, Fred, John, Frank Fermo, Philomeno Longa and Rose Roberto.
He is survived by: his daughter Dianne Mary Monsam; his grandson Paul Fermo; his great grandchildren, Emma and Nathan Fermo; and his sibling's children, Donna Fermo and Leonard Roberto (Kathy). He is also survived by several great-nieces, and a great great niece.
