She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose R. Valente and Carminda Valente (Amador); her husband Joaquim F. Fonseca; her son Alberto J. Fonseca; her siblings, Carlos A. Valente, Frederico Valente and Lucilia Fonseca; and her granddaughter Gina Marie Fonseca.
She is survived by: her sons, Antonio Fernando Fonseca (Millie) of Naugatuck and Manuel Joaquim Fonseca of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Anthony, Jennifer, Jillian and Shelby; her great grandchildren, Holden, Troy, Noelle and Brendan; her brother Jose Alberto Valente (Odete); and her sisters-in-law, Assuncao Fonseca, Florinda Fonseca, Ilda Valente and Albina Valente. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
