He was predeceased by: his spouse Lillian Abate (Urashka); and his parent Vincent Abate. He is survived by: his parent Anna Abate (Guarcello); his sons, Gregory Abate (Karen) of Las Vegas, NV and Ronald Abate (Denise) of Naugatuck; and his grandchildren, Jason Abate (Paula), Ryan Abate (Sarah), Kelli Lyons (Joe), Kris Abate (Carla) and Jessica Abate. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
