He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Augusto Ribeiro and Ana Gomes; his wife Isaura Gomes Ribeiro; his children, Manuel Ribeiro (Gina), Maria Ribeiro Garcia (Firmino), Ana Salgado (Carlos) and Connie Ribeiro Carey (Ralph); his grandchildren, Joshua Salgado, Mikayla Garcia, Ethan Garcia, Dylan Salgado, Nicholas Ribeiro, Alivia Garcia, Rohan Carey and Eva Carey; his sisters-in-law, Teresa Gomes Moreno and Maria Agostinha Gomes; his siblings, Maria Silva, Domingos Ribeiro, Antonio Ribeiro, Teresa Martins, Clementina Ribeiro, Joaquina Teixeira and Jaime Ribeiro; and his brothers-in-law, Jose Gomes and Manuel Gomes. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
