He is survived by: his wife Elaine Margaret Petersen (Petruny); his children, Karen Petersen (Stephen Colton) of Southbury and David Petersen (Tammy) of Oxford; his brother John Petersen (Isabel) of Beacon Falls; and his grandchildren, Caitlin and Bryan Petersen of Oxford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless dear friends.
