He was predeceased by: his brother John Burns. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Burns (Kloc); his sons, Robert J. Burns, Jr. (Maria), Thomas Burns and Kevin Burns (Tina); his grandchildren, Ryan of Robert, III, Michael, Lauren and Shannon; his sister Rita Hubbell of Southbury; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Rimkus of Naugatuck and Cathy Cardinale (Louis) of Florida.
Facial coverings and appropriate social distancing will be required during all services.
