She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Caneira and Joana Caneira; her son-in-law Antonio Simoes; and her siblings, Virginia Costa, Luisa Rodrigues, Natalia Guerreiro and Raul Caneira.
She is survived by: her daughter Ana Simoes; her grandsons, Carlos Simoes (Laura Simoes) and Mark Simoes; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Simoes and Tyler Simoes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
