She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Stephens Williams and Matthew Williams; her brother Eddie Saunders; her aunt Missy (Hermeine Thompson); her uncle Sylvester; and her children, Cheryl Brown Davis and Danny Brown, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Danny L. Brown of New Britain, CT; her children, Lynn Brown, Sonia Brown-Lee and Durelle Brown; her goddaughter Tanya Moorehead Cooley (Travis); her grandchildren, David Mosley (Toni Lynn), Staci Lee, Iman Barbosa (Andre), Azzarria Brown, Samiira Fowler, Noah Merchant and Adelina Brown; her great grandchildren, Aidynn, Maia, Gino, Quincy and Bryson; her siblings, Beverly Williams, Bridget Saunders, Terrayon Williams Palmer, Michael Williams and Lloyd Williams; her friend Sylvester Darnell Terry; and her children, Olympia Thompson, Lita Black Stephanie Nelson (Derrick) and Valda Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Anita's grandchildren and great grandchildren all have special memories of time spent with her on holidays, summer breaks, athletic events, daily zoom calls throughout the pandemic and special family celebrations.

They planned to donate the money to the church.
