She was predeceased by : her grandfather John L Robertson Sr.; her father-in-law Larry Miles; her husband Felipe Cruz LaVoy Sr.; her sister Elizabeth Marie McCoy; and her niece Tatiana Unique McCoy.

She is survived by : her father Deacon James D. McCoy Sr.; her sisters, Helen Lebby (Evangelist Wynell Allen), Roberta Kyles, Twinkie, Karen Clark and Yolanda Adams; her father-in-law Timothy Johnson; her sons, Demetrious Enhenio LaVoy, John Ulysses McCoy Jr. and Demetrius Enhenio LaVoy; her brother James D. McCoy; her grandchildren, Delilah McCoy and Lelani LaVoy; her goddaughter Jasmine C. Aiken; her godmother Mary Francis Robertson (Bethel Apostolic Church); and also Charlene M. Aiken.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Apostolic Church (249 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
