He is survived by: his close friend Gricel Davila; his sons, Alexander and Joshua Acevedo; his stepson Fernando (family: Cindy, Yesenya); his parents, Rosalia Rupiza and Juan Acevedo Sr.; and his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Daira, Keanu and Raniel.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home (411 S Main St, New Britain, CT 06051).
