He is survived by: his siblings, Gino Marotta of Turin and Pompea Ricci of Lucera, Italy.; his wife Elvira DeVivo; his children, Raffaele Marotta, Mary Cognetta (Frank), Laurie Longo (Carmine), Joe Marotta and Sara Carlo (Chris); and his grandchildren, Brooke DeMarzo (Vinny), Kristen Granito (Frank), Kelsey Cognetta (Erica), Nicholas Longo (Allegra), Brittany Longo, Timothy Longo, Alyssa and Olivia Marotta.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the St. Aloysius Church (21 Cherry St, New Canaan, CT 06840). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery South Main (352 Main St, New Canaan, CT 06840).
