Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoyt Funeral Home (199 Main St, New Canaan, CT 06840). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Aloysius Parish (21 Cherry St, New Canaan, CT 06840). A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery South Main (352 Main St, New Canaan, CT 06840).

This internship marked an early contribution to the gray hairs on his father's head.

“Connie and i are heartbroken hearing the news of Rick's passing. Living here in Denver separates us physically from our former home in New Canaan but we stay on top of news in NC so reading this loss of such a great guy, fun guy and the reason why super bowl had meaning was a shock. Both of us always stopped in the wine store to see Rick and Carl and the great help the family enjoyed. Rick was a joy to see and we have missed his prince the last few years. RIP Rick Tom and Connie McManus”
