It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Irene Shealy (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hawkins and Bertha Hawkins; her husband Reverend David Shealy; and her brothers, Martin Hawkins, Walter Hawkins, Jr. and John Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Richardson, Victoria Adams (Lonnie Adams), Trina Shealy and Lena Cummings (Clarence); her siblings, Saleem Shabazz, Annie Grace Hawkins, Janie Blackstock and Margret Cox; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Richardson and Sirvon Strickland. She is also survived by Five sons.
