It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen R. Serrano of New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Dionisio Serrano; her parents, Thomas Betancourt and Genoveva Rodriguez Betancourt; and her stepson Francisco Serrano. She is survived by: her children, Margarita, Luis Serrano, Iris, Milagros, Sonia and Angel Soto; and her stepchildren, Gloria, Olga and Dionisio, Jr.. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
