He is survived by: his children, Guilford, Lucy Soto, Madeline Silot, Carmen Méndez of Philadelphia, PA, Margie Méndez of Naguabo, Rosa Méndez of Las Piedras, PR, Magda Méndez of Florida, Cristina Méndez of New Haven and Cruzito Méndez of Vineland, NJ; and his siblings, Ana Méndez, Lily Negron (Daniel) of Kissimmee, FL, Maria Luisa (José) of Jesús, Victor Méndez, Jesús Méndez (Carmen Julia Gerena), Abraham Méndez (Blanca Velázquez) of Naguabo and David Méndez (Nellie) of New Haven. He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
