She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Jane Mooring Brown and Robert Lee Brown; her siblings, David Brown, Luise Durham Brown, Mary Brown Moore Galloway, Donald Brown, Pearline Brown Moore and Olton Gray; her son Leonard McNeil; her husband Leon McNeil; and her grandsons, Terrance McNeil and Dayshawn Hicks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lula Brown Woodson, Mamie Ruth Joyner, Geraldine Brown Denby, Martha Brown Conyers and Ronald Brown; her children, Elayne McNeil, Eldress Deborah Mann (Elder John Mann), Patricia Hicks and Christopher James McNeil; her grandchildren, Marvin McNeil of Greenville, NC, David Ben Yehudah, Kelli McNeil, Anola Smith, Kwanita McNeil, Dorshawn Hicks, Faith Mann and Ian Mann; her goddaughter Valerie Ingram; and her siblings' children, Vanessa Moore, Connie Draughn and Troy Streater. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
